I found the native procedure navigation in the VBA IDE (MS Office VB Integrated Developer Environment) awkward.
It has 3 problems:
- The native VBA IDE requires 2 drop downs to get to the
target procedure.
- It inserts a stub or goes to the 1st active procedure
for the control. This requires messy navigation to get to the target
procedure.
- In addition, it's not always easy to see where you are after your selection. No highlighting.
I added a new dropdown list of
VB procedures next to the help button in the VBA main menu. It has only the
procedures in the module listed alphabetically in a single list. When the user
selects a target procedure, it jumps to the 1st line & highlights the
selection.
