fail on initial implementation. Oddly enough the actual query works.
Compact & Repair or Reboot repairs.
This can be very disconcerting. Regular queries can be built that include ODBC linked tables.
(Specifically this is NOT a pass-thru query problem) Testing the query from the database view confirms
that it is working correctly. However, when the query is executed from VBA, it fails initially with
a failed ODBC connection error.
Sometimes a compact & repair will fix the problem but sometimes a reboot is needed.
